"Sleep is the best meditation" - Dalai Lama
Fact alert - We spend a third of our lives sleeping.
The bedroom for me is one of the most important rooms in the home. This in fact is very well articulated in Feng Sui's philosophy.
It is not the quantity of sleep but the quality of sleep that essentially flushes your brain to keep it at optimum condition.
Simply by organising and paying attention to certain elements that form part of your bedroom greatly increases your Creativity, Productivity, Vitality, and Longevity.
I have designed this bedroom to enrich well-being and reduce digital dementia - Elevate tone of your morning - Promote joy and calm!
Here are my top 3 tips that I have used in conceptualising and creating this relaxing and restful bedroom -
1) Keep it simple - Tech & Gadget free bedroom
Greatly minimise presence of any kind of technology or electronic clutter. These are key culprits to the global sleep recession.
2) Make space for Affirmations and Personal Pursuits
It supports the restoration and regeneration of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Helps you sleep deeply and breeds inspiration.
3) Add a Headboard
A sturdy headboard represents and supports stability and secure feeling over a wall.
